In order for GYNCA to best serve women in Southwest Missouri diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer, we need to better understand how we can help.

Our Programs
Fueled by Hope
- GYNCA provides gas cards to women in active treatment to cover the cost of traveling to their cancer-related appointments.
Case Management & Advocacy
- We maintain a record on each of our members in order to assist them with any case management needs. We are always willing to help advocate for the needs of our GYNCA members.
- We will keep in contact throughout each woman's journey to assess needs, answer questions, and offer support.
Emergency Non-Medical Financial Support
- Families facing gynecologic cancer can request financial assistance. Common assistance includes rent payments, car repairs, utilities, gasoline, home repairs, personal care items & more...
Building Connection & Community
- In-person support groups meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 6-8 PM. Check with the office for the most up-to-date location details.
- A private Facebook group is available for our survivors. Request to join at: facebook.com/groups/gyncasupport
The Shelly Sachs Wig Room
- A partnership of The Shelly Sachs Foundation, Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks and GYN Cancers Alliance, where women with any cancer diagnosis can receive a personal fitting in the GYNCA office, a wig of their choosing, care supplies and a gift – free of charge.
- Fittings are by appointment only in order to dedicate the most time to each survivor - please call 417-869-2220 to schedule.
